Home Downtown Directions

• If you find yourself downtown, these directions will be easy to get to the Asheville Hostel. 
• Downtown is very small, and we are 3 blocks soutwest diagonally from the Vance monument. 
• Asking for directions to the Arthaus will not work. 
• No one will know where the Arthaus, or Ravenscroft is, but if you are downtown, you are within a few blocks! 
• Ask for directions to the "Jack of the Wood". 
• Across the street from the Jack of the Wood pub is Coxe Ave.

Walk down Coxe Ave.

• LEFT past the first traffic light onto SAWYER. 
• One block RIGHT onto RAVENSCROFT Dr. 2nd house on left #16. 
• (If you turned left on Aston instead,take your next right onto Church, and right again onto Sawyer.) 
• Dark Green cedar shake shingles, and dark purple trim. 
• Bungalow parking space is on the left side of the house next to the fence. 
• There are 3 spaces in front of house, leave enough room for 2 other cars. 
• Anywhere on the far side of the road is okay as well. (no meters on our street) 

or ask for directions to the Wachovia building, then:

Walk down Church St.

• From Paton Ave, (one way) turn down Church St. which is located on one side of the Wachovia Building. 
• Going downhill on one-way Church St, go through the first stop sign at Aston Ave. 
• Take your next right onto Sawyer Ave. 
• Veer off to the left, and park. 2nd house on the left, #16. 
• Dark Green cedar shake shingles, and dark purple trim.  
• There are 3 spaces in front of house, leave enough room for 2 other cars. 
• Anywhere on the far side of the road is okay as well. (no meters on our street) 

Walk Down Aston St. (From Barleys's Taproom)

• Turn onto Aston from either direction at Barleys' Taproom
• Go to second stop sign.
• Left onto Chruch St.
• Imediate Right onto Saywyer
• Vear off immediatly to the Left which is Ravenscroft Dr.
• 2nd House on Left

Walk from the the Orange Peel Music venue on Biltmore Avenue.

• Go west on Hilliard at the Orange Peel throught 2 lights. 
• Take next right onto Ravenscroft Dr. 
• 5th house on the right #16. 
• Dark Green cedar shake shingles, and dark purple trim. 
• Bungalow parking space is on the left side of the house next to the fence. 
• There are 3 spaces in front of house, leave enough room for 2 other cars. 
• Anywhere on the far side of the road is okay as well. (no meters on our street)
